I am using Role Editor (http://role-editor.com/) and when I deselect Manage Options it makes it so the role will not see the Enfold option on the menu bar, unfortunately it also takes away the LayerSlider option.
Is there another way I can control who can see the Enfold option? I don’t want certain roles having access to that option.
Thanks.
Hi Micheal0424!
You can try to activate LayerSlider as a standalone plugin. Copy the wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/ folder into the wp-content/plugins/ directory, then deactivate Enfold and go to Plugins > All Plugins to activate LayerSlider as a plugin. Then go back to Themes > All Themes to activate Enfold. Afterwards LayerSlider shouldn’t depend on the Enfold theme code anymore.
Cheers!
Peter
I will give that a shot, thanks.
Hey!
Ok, I hope it works out.

Peter
Gave it a shot and the slider no longer worked, going to have to play with it a little more to see if I can get it to work.
I tried doing it with a slider that was already working, maybe I can try it on a new site before I create the slider.
I will post the solution if I figure it out.
Thanks.
We looking forward to hearing from you Micheal :)

I found a much easier fix:
Plugin: WP Admin UI Customize
I am using this plugin in in combination with:
Plugin: WPFront User Role Editor
This combination is great for user role editor and limiting what you want other users seeing when they login.
Best of luck !!
