I have added one at the blog page, I see how it fits there and it’s fine.
However in the homepage I want the slide to be full screen and with the effect I currently have:
– when scrolling down the menu bar become visibile.Is it possible?
can you help me please?The slider in the home page is the Ken burns hero 1
Thanks!November 24, 2019 at 7:46 pm #1159638Hi sparkylab,
You can replace the top color section with the Rev Slider. Have you tried doing it? You can copy the home page and add it there to see if it works ok.

VictoriaNovember 24, 2019 at 8:56 pm #1159682Hi Victoria,
as suggested, I created a second home draft, with the slider on it.
It works, but as you can see it’s not full screen, and there is a white space between the slide and the rest of the page. I tried to check if there is some paddings there but it’s not.
Can you suggest me how to fix it please?I have also a couple of questions about the theme:
– I want to add some ‘follow me links’ with facebook, instagram and Pinterest in the website, but I see that there isn’t a widget for this: I would like to put my social in different parts of the websites (not only in the socket). For example always visible on the left side of the screen, how can I do this? even a simple widget to add in other places. Can you help me please?
– if you see in the blog page, I have created 4 tops category menu kind of. I don’t like how the blog visualisation is in the enfold theme unfortunately, so I decided to try the magazine, but (as you can see) is very small and the layout isn’t very optimised. Is it possible to make the font bigger? And to have like two columns? Or just one but with font bigger please?Thank you!

FrancescaNovember 27, 2019 at 10:47 am #1160585Hi all,
I have posted to ask some help on the 24th of November and I am still waiting for a feedback please.
I need to know:
– how to adapt full screen the slider revolution as there is a huge space between the slider in the home (see the home 2 prova post in drafts) and in the blog page. Also in the mobile version there is this huge space. How can I fix this?
– I want to add follow me social links (in the menu) and in other parts of the website. As there isn’t a widget for this how can I add my social links? (I don’t want the Facebook and Instagram enfold widgets, only the icons.
-again in the blog page, is it possible to have the title with a bigger font in the magazine?
– I don’t like how is the socket in the mobile version: social links on the right side and the rest on left: I want to have all in the middle in this order:
– social links (bigger: I can’t eve see them in the mobile version)
– links to terms and conditions and privacy
– CopyrightIt is very urgent as the website is already live
Thanks
FrancescaNovember 27, 2019 at 1:44 pm #1160614Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I have looked at your draft homepage with the slider, to remove the white space under the slider Please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:#revolutionslider_1 { min-height: 0 !important; }
After applying the css, Please clear your browser cache and check.
Typically I recommend using more targeted css, but I know you will be moving this to your homepage, so when you do please use this css instead:#top.home #revolutionslider_1 { min-height: 0 !important; }
Best regards,
MikeNovember 27, 2019 at 2:23 pm #1160631Hi,

Do you know why, even though I have a https domain, all my media files are http?
What’s the problem here?

Hope that someone can give me a feedback soon, also for the other issues I have
ThanksNovember 27, 2019 at 3:46 pm #1160663Hi Mark thank
Slider revolution is fixed now, also on mobile.
Can you also help me with the other issues I have please:
1) SOCIAL FOLLOW ICONS: I want to add follow me social links (in the menu) and in other parts of the website. As there isn’t a widget for this how can I add my social links? (I don’t want the Facebook and Instagram enfold widgets, only the icons.
2) MAGAZINE: again in the blog page, is it possible to have the title with a bigger font in the magazine?
3) SOCKET MOBILE VERSION: I want to have all elements in the middle of the page in this order:
– social links (bigger: I can’t even see them in the mobile version)
– links to terms and conditions and privacy
– Copyright
Can you help me please?

FrancescaNovember 27, 2019 at 11:01 pm #1160819Hi Mark
once added the CSS to fix the homepage, now i have the blog page again with the same problem: there is a huge space at the bottom.
It’s very urgent please, can you help me?November 28, 2019 at 11:31 am #1160908Hi,
Thank you for the feedback, I see your rev slider on the homepage is working without the space at the bottom, and I see the css is active, please try clearing your browser cache if it still looks broken to you.Please open a new thread for each issue, this helps other users find solutions based on the opening subject line quicker and helps keep the thread length manageable and on topic for multiple mods to assist. Thank you for your understanding.

thanks for the feedback.
Revolution slider in the homepage is yes without space at the bottom, but in the desktop version isn’t full screen.
You can see there is the brown section when you open the home.
Is it possible to have it full screen?
The brown bottom part there is also in the mobile version.In the blog page (https://www.sparkylab.co/blog/) it works perfect in the desktop version (you see that the next section isn’t visible) but there is the space in the mobile version. How can I fix it please?
November 28, 2019 at 12:49 pm #1160929Hi,
I see what you mean now, I believe you are going to need to create two sliders, one for mobile and one for desktop, and then show / hide with visibility option or css. We don’t work with the Revolution Slider or have a connection with them, but in the Layerslider this is the recommended tactic. In the Layerslider you have the option to create the slider at certain screen sizes so you and adjust the layers for that screen size, or show different layers.
Perhaps the Revolution Slider has a better way to achieve this within the slider you are using, but we don’t know how to do this with the Revolution Slider, you could ask them in their support forum.With the Revolution Slider adding
min-height: 100vh;
only creates the empty space instead of making it full height.Best regards,
MikeNovember 28, 2019 at 10:17 pm #1161105Hi Mike,
the space at the bottom of the slide in the home page still exists.
There isn’t in the blog page (there is also a slider revolution there), that is perfectly full screen.
Can you help me with this please?And also, I want to hide the slider revolution for the mobile but I don’t know how to do it as I can’t put it in a section. Can you help me please?
Please I need it urgently
thanks
FrancescaNovember 29, 2019 at 12:10 pm #1161206Hi,
Sorry, I do not see the space at the bottom of your slider on your homepage, on mobile or desktop. Please see the screenshots in Private Content area. What browser and OS are you using?
To hide the slider on mobile, Please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #revolutionslider_1 { display:none !important; } }
After applying the css, Please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
MikeDecember 1, 2019 at 2:10 pm #1161624Hi Mike
can you see the brown part at the bottom of the home?
It shouldn’t be there. The slider should be full screen as it’s in the blog page (https://www.sparkylab.co/blog/)Can You see the difference?Besides, how can I hide the slider for the mobile version please?
Thanks
December 1, 2019 at 4:56 pm #1161640Hi,
Thank you for the feedback, Please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field to make it full height:#slider-8-slide-12-layer-10,#rev_slider_8_1_wrapper,#revolutionslider_1,#rev_slider_8_1_forcefullwidth,#rev_slider_8_1 { height: 100vh !important; min-height: 100vh !important; }
To hide for mobile, try this css:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #revolutionslider_1 { display:none !important; } }

MikeDecember 2, 2019 at 11:37 am #1161805Hi Mark,
I did it and now the slide in the home page is finally 100%
But, the blog page has again the space at the bottom of the slide (https://www.sparkylab.co/blog/)!!!
Why are there are so many problems with this slide?
How can I do?
Also I don’t understand: all these CSS we have put in the code: how can I remove them if want to change something?
Thanks!December 3, 2019 at 12:10 pm #1162158December 8, 2019 at 1:42 pm #1163765Thank you Mike.
May I ask you something about the CSS code we put in the website.
How can I remove it if I need it?
Do I have to know the code?
Thank you!
FrancescaDecember 8, 2019 at 2:49 pm #1163794Hi,
To remove the code, you would select it and delete it and then save again. But I believe your question has more to do with that you feel someday in the future you won’t remember what your custom css does, to solve this you can add comments to your css, this is done by adding a backslash and star before and after a comment in your css, like this:
/* this is my comment */
you can add this to the start and end of a block of code to help you remember, like this:/* this is the start of my comment */ @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #revolutionslider_1 { display:none !important; } } /* this is the end of my comment */
Is this what you ment?
Best regards,
Mike -
