On our website elliottlandy.com the option for revisions has disappeared. It isn’t in the screen option. I tired adding the default code ( ‘WP_POST_REVISIONS’, TRUE); to the wpconfig file setting the parameter to True but that didn’t work. It was not in that code at all. I notice however on another enfold installation the code isn’t in the default wp config file either and the revisions are unable and working. Is the code in elsewhere in enfold, could that be the issue? It’s not a plug in conflict as I tried with them all off, and its also missing on a default theme when switching the theme off temporarily

    Please help,Thanks.

    Hey tonyiatridis,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Revisions should be enabled by default, and the theme does not limit or control this.

Where is your site hosted? It’s possible that your hosting provider is limiting this option.

This happened after a major revise of the site in place, no migration. I understand it would be on by default, my question is where is the code which enables this option in the enfold theme it its not in the wp-config file were it is most often found. I thought that code got blown out there somehow, but I looked at other Enfold installations and found the code is in fact not there in an enfold installation.

Where in the code of the theme is there anything relevant to this? Or is there nothing in the theme at all which controls this?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Thanks for the login to your site, when I check your site doesn’t have the Enfold theme installed, you have the Avada theme by ThemeFusion installed, you will need to check with them.

    Best regards,
    Mike
