    I now get the following message in the revisions:
    “Autosave ENFOLD_SUPPORT 15 hours ago (5 Dec @ 00:13)” and a button that says “Restore autosave”). Did you guys do anything else on the site at that time (Germany)? Shall I click the button or would you rather compare the revisions? What needs to be done? I’m asking for your help again, the project mustn’t be left lying around!
    And please also look in the private content.

    Hey Nic_007,

    Auto save is a WordPress functionality which automatically saves your work. If your layout and content is correct, then you don’t need to restore anything.

    Hi Rikard,
    I’m afraid that’s not entirely true. Unfortunately, I have had different experiences.
    1st case:
    Support and I seem to have been working on the site at the same time:
    I clicked on the automatic backup that was supposed to be “more recent backup” and my changes were gone!

    2nd case:
    I didn’t click on the auto backup that popped up and it still gave me trouble and I had to check for the support changes and deal with the restore function etc.

    Since my “urgent” request was almost 2 days ago, that has also been done.
    But I still don’t know what to do in such a case. Push the button or not? Both variants have so far been unsuccessful!
    Wouldn’t it make more sense to only allow ONE person to work on the page, or at least to show an indication that two people are working on it at the same time and there is a risk that one person’s changes will not be saved?

    Hey,

    If the other person working on your site is one of us, you can go ahead and update the page. The most updated version of the site would be displayed but when you update your changes, you can revert back to it in revisions if the most recent version is not the one you created.

    WordPress displays a warning message if two users are trying to edit the same page. In case you have requests about that functionality, please feel free to submit your request on WP org.
