Hello,
I have some problem to make some of the page (Area soci) of my website accessible only for a category of users (Soci). Also I would like to personalize the login form in order to make this compliant with the look & feel of the website.
I tried some plugin in order to solve this, but I did no obtain all the desired results but the following:
– first try was using ultimate-member, very nice to make a social but by far too complex and cumbersome for my needs.
– after I tried 2 other plugin combined: user access manager to limit the access of the desired pages, this worked quite good, then I added loginpress to solve the login customization, it is nice, true, but not 100% customizable (font, bold, colors, etc.) and also redirect the user after login to the WordPress dashboard, not very user friendly. Obviously I preferred to redirect to the homepage.
Well, that’s all the situation, I am not so happy with both these alternatives so I would like to ask you some help in order to solve my issue. Thanks in advance for your cooperation
Best regards

Thank you for your patience and login, so as I understand where you are now, you like using user access manager to limit the access of the desired pages and you like loginpress to solve the login customization but the main issue seems to be that you would like to redirect uses after login, I found that loginpress has an addon for Login Redirects:
so perhaps this would be the easiest solution for you?
The only other issue you seem to have is the customization of the login form, but when I check it seems to allow most everything to be customized:
perhaps you didn’t see this option?
perhaps the change you wish to make is a part of the pro version or it is very small?Best regards,

you are right, the customization is 90% ok, only some small detail (like bold in label) that is not possible to make in this free version probably.
Regarding the redirect, it is true, I would like to avoid to use an addon like that only for this simple feature … there is some other ways to achieve that?!
For me it is ok also to add a link in code after the user enter in the dashboard in order to obtain the desired result! ;-)Changing topic today I had a fatal error while submitting payments using Stripe in forminator … the error is the following:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::confirm() in /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/modules/custom-forms/front/front-action.php:736 Stack trace: #0 /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/modules/custom-forms/front/front-action.php(1010): Forminator_CForm_Front_Action::handle_stripe() #1 /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/abstracts/abstract-class-front-action.php(119): Forminator_CForm_Front_Action->handle_form() #2 /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/abstracts/abstract-class-front-action.php(94): Forminator_Front_Action->handle_submit() #3 /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(292): Forminator_Front_Action->maybe_handle_submit() #4 /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(316): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #5 /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-in in /web/htdocs/www.alfieridellatuscia.it/home/wp-content/plugins/forminator/library/modules/custom-forms/front/front-action.php on line 736
The forms customization in forminator seems good, only it is strange i did not see the card icon in the form preview … maybe this is the signal of some kind of problem inside?!? CAn you give me some help or suggestion?!
Thanks in advance, Andrea
May 18, 2021 at 1:19 pm #1300984Hi,
For the login form customization, if it is only the bold in the label you are looking for then I could probably help with a little CSS, typically this type of customization for a third-party plugin would be out of scope for us, it there are serval points you would like to customize try asking the plugin author for help.
Regarding the redirect, adding a redirect based on the user privileges such as the way the user access manager plugin does is actually trickier than it may look, and whether you hire someone to write code for you or use the addon from the plugin author it is going to take more extra code. I would recommend using the addon.
As for submitting payments using Stripe in forminator, all of the errors above are coming from the forminator plugin, I don’t have any experience with this plugin, and supporting this third-party plugin is out of scope for us, please try contacting the plugin author.Best regards,
