Hello,
We are hoping to sort our catering menu so people can search for vegetarian, gluten free etc. Is there a way to do this using catalogues?
Thanks
Ty
Hey tsands84,
Sorry for the delayed response. It’s not clear what you like to achieve Would you mind providing a precise link showing a similar feature or menu online? or upload a screenshot/mockup to imgur.com and share the link here so we can help you better :)
Best regards,
Vinay
A sort-by-attribute feature would be helpful…to be able to enter a series of menu items and classify those as “vegan” or “vegetarian” or “gluten” free. Rather than grouping those items in a catalogue element, those individual items would be tagged with those relevant terms (or rather than tagged, maybe using categories or a custom field) and then the user could sort/search the menu items to find all similar items (e.g., “vegan”, “vegetarian”, “gluten free”). At present, it appears that the catalogue items are “dumb” meaning they cannot be selected from within another catalogue element and shown there as well.
Can this feature be added or is there a way to do this with the current feature set?
Hi,
This is somehow possible with the portfolio grid, masonry or the magazine element because these elements can display actuals posts, so you can sort them by category. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the catalogue element because the items that you add there manually can’t be grouped into categories.
Best regards,
