Hi there,
I am having trouble with the responsiveness of my menu bar.
I am using a mega menu and when on an ipad the menu falls into two rows and looks really bad. How can I ensure this doesnt happen and the menu stays responsive with the page. Our site is http://www.officechanges.com please have a look.
The desktop and mobile looks great as the menu moves to a hamburger but the ipad size looks really bad.
Many thanks,
May 24, 2016 at 2:29 pm #637480Hey anyone_officechanges,
I’m unable to reproduce this issue, the menu looks good on my end would you mind posting us a screenshot/mockup of what you would like to achieve? You can upload the screenshot to imgur.com or dropbox and share the link here :)
Best regards,

If you are on a desktop, view the menu and it looks normal.
Start to make your internet window smaller, you will see that Home changes and Blog drops down to a second row. This is what it looks like on an ipad. If you have an ipad, try going on to our site and you will see what I mean.I’m sorry, my dropbox won’t work at the moment, I hope you can see what I mean by this.
Many thanks.May 24, 2016 at 5:43 pm #637658Hey!

Many thanks for this!
I have another question: see attached screenshot.
On the Ipad and mobile the hamburger menu is showing the categories with little icons next to them, can we remove these, they don’t look good. Many thanks,
May 25, 2016 at 12:35 pm #637980Hey!
I have just noticed that you are currently using an older version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.5.4 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
Cheers!
YigitMay 25, 2016 at 12:57 pm #637991Hi Yigit,
I have been made aware by an external developer that we are currently editing our site on the parent theme, not the child theme, so if we update, everything will be lost.
How do I make sure this doesn’t happen?
Also, our theme is currently saying we are using the most current version?May 26, 2016 at 7:17 am #638535Hi,
That is correct, you need to create a child theme and move your customisation to it: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/create-a-child-theme/
If you are having problems updating you could try this plugin to clear WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/. If that doesn’t work then please try updating manually via FTP: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
