Hi, just checked some of the theme demos on a tablet.
Whilst they are responsive in the sense that they fit the viewing device (PC,Tablet, mobile), they don’t respond to zooming…as in the ‘pinch to zoom’ or finger control that you get with most content on mobile devices.
Why is that?
regards
hjayJanuary 31, 2016 at 7:59 pm #575378Hi hjay!
Main reason for that is that it will conflict with some elements that are offcanvas, it can be easily turned though (editing header.php via child theme).

JosueJanuary 31, 2016 at 11:52 pm #575461hjayGuestHi Josue,
Thanks for the reply. It is unusual, though, isn’t it? Nearly all the themes (from major theme authors) I’ve studied zoom.
“Easily turned on”…? Hmmm, easy If you know what you’re doing – I wouldn’t have a clue!! Any instructions?
cheers
hjayFebruary 1, 2016 at 2:08 am #575471Hey!
If you decide to purchase Enfold, please feel free to create a new thread on our support forum and we will gladly provide you instructions :)
If you already have a license, please register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and start a new thread :)
Cheers!
YigitFebruary 1, 2016 at 5:04 am #575521hjayGuestLol!…. I’m not going to purchase enfold ’til I know how it works ;)
February 1, 2016 at 1:10 pm #575713Hi!
I am sorry but unfortunately we cannot provide you the instructions until we have a valid verification that the theme was purchased properly. This is necessary for us, since there are quite a few people out there who do not buy the theme on ThemeForest and instead download it for free on illegal file sharing sites and then even have the audacity to ask us for support.
Sorry about that!
Cheers!
YigitFebruary 1, 2016 at 1:32 pm #575724hjayGuestThat’s ok, Yiigit, fully understand your position! I’m sure you understand mine, too! So if I was to buy Enfold it would be on the assumption that a site made with it could be made zoomable with instructions you provide. That’s fine!
cheers
hjayFebruary 1, 2016 at 1:37 pm #575728Hey Hjay!
Thanks for your understanding :)
Yes, it will be zoomable with our instructions as Josue mentioned here. Since you do not have access to the theme, you would not have a chance to try out the solution even if we provided you right now i believe :)Best regards,
YigitFebruary 1, 2016 at 4:26 pm #575867hjayGuestWell if you provided the solution for me now I probably could try it out….because your theme is for sale on eBay! I’m not saying the seller has any legitimate right to sell it, but an innocent buyer might not know any different…. ;)
Just let me clarify: personally, I would never use pirated software to deploy a web site – I want the real McCoy and the real support/backup. And I believe in supporting software authors. If I was satisfied that Enfold was the theme for me I would unhesitatingly buy it (as I have bought several others).
But (and this is something for you to take care of) the theme is accessible!
cheers

February 1, 2016 at 4:51 pm #575890February 8, 2016 at 8:26 pm #579869hjayGuestHi Yigit (or friends!)
In the Choices theme, is it possible to deploy a mega-menu? Maybe one is included in the theme, I can’t tell?
Thanks
hjayFebruary 8, 2016 at 8:39 pm #579875Hi!
You can use Uber Menu
http://wpmegamenu.com/and create any type of menu you want with it
Please let us know if anything else needed
Cheers!
BasilisFebruary 8, 2016 at 8:44 pm #579881hjayGuestThanks Basilis!
Is that a WordPress plugin? (I understand it’s a paid add-on, but wonder whether it installs like other plugins?)
UberMenu site says… “UberMenu will not automatically adopt the style of your theme, unless your theme has an UberMenu-specific stylesheet. You’ll need to customize the styles on your own to recreate it if that’s what you want”
Has Choices got an Ubermenu specific stylesheet?February 8, 2016 at 10:08 pm #579920Hey!
No, it doesn’t, however UberMenu comes with its own built-in styles.
Best regards,
JosueFebruary 8, 2016 at 10:15 pm #579926hjayGuestHo Josue,
Right…I think what you’re saying is that I’d have to custom style it myself to match Choices!! I’m not a CSS guru.
Do any of the Kriesi themes have megamenu out of the box?…February 8, 2016 at 10:41 pm #579939Hi!
You can use enfold and here how to setup a megamenu
