Hi Enfold people,
I’m using a Masonry gallery to show images with links to other pages (using 2 column ‘perfect automatic masonry’).
Issue: I cannot get images to look non-blurred in this layout …unless I use 705×705 (bottom x2 images are sharp)
This is 100% awful on wide images …when viewing on large screens/full screen.TO KEEP IMAGES SHARP …Is there a best ratio/size to use, for what Masonry sees as ‘WIDE’ images?
Many thanks
Stevo

Please, can you share with us a screenshot about this issue? I could not see the problem.
Best regards,

Thank you – a test page (with the photos as described above) is here: https://littlegemscountrydining.co.uk/block/
ps. Maybe it’s because I’m full-screening on a large Mac, but the bottom two images at 705×705 are easily very sharp. The others, no matter whart sizes I concoct, are always blurred – they shoudl be sharp.

October 3, 2017 at 9:59 pm #859799Hi,
Please try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change themasonryimage size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.Best regards,
YigitOctober 3, 2017 at 11:51 pm #859832Thank you Yigit – any guidance on what sizes I should be opting for…?
otherwise I’m flying blind…Stevo :-)
(ps. I also note that this plugin is over a year old, and appears to have been abandoned. Do the images regenerated stay put if we uninstall this plugin after use?)
October 4, 2017 at 8:36 am #859993Hi,
Yes, the thumbnails will continue in the same size that you regenerated.
Best regards,
