Towards the bottom of my home page, in a colored box, I have a “Careers” column set at 3/5 width, and a “News” column set at 2/5 width.
I want the two columns to be different colors, to help differentiate between them.
I’m somewhat new to WordPress so please dumb down the explanation if need be :)
Hey NLPSEO!
Perhaps your wanting to use a grid row element. After you drag the grid row over to your content you can add cells inside and change their size. You can also set a background to each cell.
Let us know if that works for you.

Hi!
This is how it’s done on our demo, http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-business-flat/service/.
You can add column elements inside the grid row cells to play around with the width as well. I’m not sure what you mean by the heading, it looks the same to me. Take a screenshot and highlight what your seeing so we can get a better idea.
Best regards,
Elliott
Is it possible to manually resize the column cells within the grid?
Regarding the header, I figured that out.
