There are 2 issues here.
One is that when I follow your instructions on how to replace the logo by adding a “transparency logo” (in Transparency Options), my logo will replace the Enfold one, but will add the text “Click here to add your own text” beneath my new logo. Then when one scrolls down my logo will shrink and the Enfold logo will reappear.
I read a post on https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layout-builder-click-here-to-add-your-own-text-keeps-coming-back/ that said to use a php code in functions.php, but when I did that my no logo will appear.
So, how do we fix this?
(Also, why wouldn’t you provide a “header” upload area within Appearance like every other WP theme?)
Thanks much,
November 29, 2014 at 11:29 pm #360155Go to the Theme OPTIONS, GENERAL. There you upload your logo. You don’t have to put one in the transparency area if you don’t want to.
You can also select Under HEADER section. If you want your logo to resize or not.
Once you put in your logo, the enfold one will disappear,.November 30, 2014 at 8:21 pm #360385Thank you for the prompt reply. I did eventually locate the header upload handler. I still have a problem with the logo.
I uploaded the new logo (I’ll call it “logo #1”) via General Options>Theme Options, and that worked fine. Logo #1 replaced the default Enfold logo.
However, when I use the Transparency Logo option, the new logo (“logo #2”) will at first replace the first one as it should, BUT when I scroll down a bit, logo #1 reappears and overlays onto logo #2.November 30, 2014 at 11:58 pm #360477Hi!
That’s expected, you can see how it is meant to work here – http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/transparent-header/

I don’t think you read what I said correctly, or I didn’t state it right. I have 2 images sharing the same area. One image overlays onto the other (and these 2 images are not of the same design).
December 1, 2014 at 2:42 am #360529Hi,
Can you post the link to your website please?

Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.header-scrolled span.subtext { opacity: 0; }

YigitDecember 1, 2014 at 10:44 pm #361121That did eliminate the issue of overlay. Now when I scroll down, the “Transparency” logo goes away and the “General Options” logo re-emerges. Is that normal? I was under the impression that the “Transparency” logo would simply replace the General Options logo throughout.
December 1, 2014 at 10:52 pm #361128Hi!
No, transparent logo should be displayed only on transparent state and should switch back to original logo once scrolled down.
Cheers!
YigitDecember 1, 2014 at 11:34 pm #361151I understand now. Thank you.
