Replacing a hidden element from a plugin

Hi team, how are you? My website is using a membership plugin… and it hides items with a shortcode from appearing… unless the person is logged into an account with the specific membership level…

Is there a way to code in a placeholder into the area? Here is an example: https://ce.jointdiplomacy.com/?page_id=20

I used a short code to make a video playlist disappear… and now I would like to put an image there instead letting people know that the content is missing.

Is there a way?
