Hello!!
I have a problem with repeating slides.
I often clone elements like sliders and change the image(s).
This has never been a problem before.
Any ideas.February 5, 2022 at 6:28 am #1339003Hey sunworx,
Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

I updated the theme and the child theme.
Maybe if I use an older version of Enfold?
Any ideas would be very helpful.February 12, 2022 at 8:57 am #1340242Hi,
Thanks for that. I checked the back and front end on the page you linked to, but it seems to correspond on my end. Could you post screenshots highlighting the problem please? If this should continue to happen, then please try deactivating your caching plugins, and turn on the option to delete the old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance.

RikardFebruary 13, 2022 at 7:16 pm #1340399Thanks for the reply.
Here is another example (Siteground cloud hosting).
also hosted on another server (Dreamhost shared), same issue.
I clone the slides and swap out photos often. Not always.
Not all slides are duplicated. I’m guessing only the ones that were duplicated with images swapped.ex.
We fix it by adding a new slide for each instance, but site wide on several sites, this will take a long time.
I’m hoping for a fix.Perhaps going to an older version of Enfold will work?
Any ideas would be amazingly helpful.
Saludos!
February 14, 2022 at 5:27 am #1340434Hi,
Thanks for the update. So the problem was that some of your fullwidth easy sliders were showing the wrong images, correct? If so, then I saw the same thing on my end. They all had the same ID for same reason, and removing the IDs from them seems to help. I tried duplicating some of the elements as well, and that is working as expected as well. Please check the page in private. If everything is correct on that page, then please let us know if you should need help with other pages as well.

RikardFebruary 14, 2022 at 8:08 pm #1340579Oh wow. Yes all better On Rancho 5.
How did you remove the IDs?
This will be quite a lot of updating, on a few sites.
I was hoping a manual case by case fix was not the answer, but we can do it if you show me.
Any idea why this is suddenly happening?
It is the first real issue I’ve had with Enfold.Gracias y Saludos!
February 15, 2022 at 6:30 am #1340640Hi,
Thanks for the update. Other users have reported the same problem as you, but we still haven’t been able to reproduce it on our test installations. Do you know which version you updated from?
If you want to try and fix this yourself, then please look for the first slider ID in the shortcode. Then you can search for that, and remove all other instances except the first one. We’ll continue to investigate this problem, and hopefully we’ll come up with a solution which is not manual. Until then, we can try to help you out as much as possible here, if you should need it.

RikardFebruary 15, 2022 at 7:44 pm #1340778Muy bien.
We will go thru the important presentations.
Thx for the ID fix.Saludos!
February 15, 2022 at 8:44 pm #1340791We are experiencing issues with the Easy Sliders on our sites, they are showing the same image on all of them but the editor shows the correct one. I had to revert the update to a previous version (from the most recent) and everything is back to normal.
February 16, 2022 at 8:38 am #1340864Hi sunworx,
I talked to our developers about this problem yesterday, and manually removing the duplicate IDs is unfortunately the only solution. Let us know if you should need help with fixing any more pages on your site.

RikardFebruary 16, 2022 at 8:39 am #1340865Hi gobieta,
Sorry for the problem. If you should need any help fixing this problem, then please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private, so that we can have a closer look at your site.
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 16, 2022 at 7:04 pm #1340961Since I move back to the previous Enfold version, the problem has been resolved. I guess the issue is with the current version. I have 7 sites impacted by this issue and I would love to see a fix that does not require manually fixing it since there are a ton of sliders on each site. Do you think that we’ll see a fix in future updates?
Thanks.
February 17, 2022 at 12:04 pm #1341097Hi,
Sorry for the troubles. We will add the fix in the next patch. For the meantime, please manually update the files listed in the private field.

IsmaelFebruary 20, 2022 at 8:28 pm #1341531Thanks Ismael!!
I copied and pasted the code per instructions and no luck.
Where can I find the previous install of Enfold?
I really must revert. It is high season for my business and this is quite a big problem.
I have hundreds of slides over many sites.Thx!!!
February 21, 2022 at 10:53 am #1341604Hi sunworx,
Sorry for the problem, this should hopefully be solved in the next release of the theme. If you need to revert to the previous version, then you can find it in private.

RikardFebruary 24, 2022 at 8:13 pm #1342181Hola!
The update didn’t work for me.
Same issue. The version of Enfold is not working either. It tells me is the most recent version.
Do you have an earlier version from last year?I have many sites with this issue.
Saludos!February 25, 2022 at 4:54 am #1342222Hi,
You have to add this code in the functions.php file after modifying the files that we mentioned above, or after upgrading to version 4.9.
add_theme_support( 'avia_post_css_slideshow_fix' )
Let us know if that helps.
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 25, 2022 at 8:00 pm #1342328It worked!!!
However I had to add a semi colon at the end to make the syntax errors go away.
add_theme_support( ‘avia_post_css_slideshow_fix’ );
Thank you!!!!!!
