removing logo and just using text / putting subtext on line below title

i have followed the instructions at

and have replaced my logo with text and subtext.

My only problem is, the subtext appears on the title line. How can i make this appear in the line below. I have no clue about php but found something about echo nl2br

what should i do to get subtext on line below title?
