Hello,
I loaded the sample data and then modified/substituted the images for my own. But I have a problem. The advanced layer slider uses a lot of javascript which causes a tiny yet measurable slowdown of the loading of the frontpage. So what I want to do is to get rid of it and replace it with a simple slideshow of 3 slides because that is all I am using the advanced layer slider for anyway!
Sounds easy right…well when I do that and I delete the advanced layer slider the formating for the ENTIRE page vanishes for some reason and renders the page worthless as a result. I can not figure out what is going on and why this happens!
Help please

can u explain us how you do it, and remove the elements? You do not remove just the shortcode of the slider?
Why not remove it and then just add a new shortcode? If you also disable the plugin, no JS will be loadingBest regards,

Perhaps I am not understanding. This is on the very frontpage of the site.
Well, when I make a new page I can get the effect that I want BUT I want it
on the frontpage and when I put a simple slider there and then delete the
advanced layer slider not only does it get deleted but also all the CSS for
the whole page (I am guessing) because it loses all the formating for all
the other elements on the page.December 11, 2015 at 6:17 am #550851Hi,
Please send us a temporary admin login so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Do we have permission to edit the page for testing purposes?

December 14, 2015 at 4:34 am #551915Hi,
I tried removing the Layer Slider from the front page but I couldn’t see anything breaking or getting messed up, did you manage to get it fixed? If not then please post screenshots of the issue you are getting and in what browser you are seeing it. You can upload images to a service like imgur.com or a public dropbox folder for instance.
Best regards,
Rikard -
