After reading about the issues with self hosted video’s and autoplay functionality I did some testing in 2017 theme and the videoelement.js plugin is working perfectly there but conflicts with enfold theme.
The video sometimes autoplays and loop sand sometimes doesn’t. Is there an easy way to disable the video functionality for the theme?
I’m also having trouble getting the video to be responsive as well as clear the div of it’s parent container at some breakpoints.
p.s. after testing with ARVE video plugin i’ve got the responsive functionality to work. Autoplay works when editing in the backend on the”element preview” of the video element but does not work on the front end.
I’m hoping removing the javascript from the enfold theme for playing video will resolve this. I tried making the modifications in one of the tickets and didn’t help.

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

BasilisThe ARVE video plugin wound up working. I spent a few hours reading through and trying things on this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/video-autoplay-4/page/2/ with no luck.
Hopefully you guys resolve the issue.
