How do I remove simple-urls etc. from search results – both dropdown and results page? And how do I create another sidebar for the results page? The one showing up shows all sites and pages etc.

I’m not sure what you mean by simple-urls but the theme’s search just uses the WordPress default search so you would need to find a plugin or functin/code that modifies the WordPress search to modify its output.
If you want to have more custom control over what shows up on auto generated pages you can use a plugin like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/ which lets you use conditional code for where widgets show.

Simple-urls is a url shortener like pretty links (hiding affiliate links as an example). If I do a search on my site it will show sites, pages and also these simple-urls which is actually links.The search result site show a sidebar with all sites, pages etc. I don’t understand that the theme doesn’t give control over this. How can you make a theme where I can control sidebars on all sites and pages but not the search result page? Think that is a mistake!

HenrikThe theme doesn’t have anything to do with those links so there isn’t anything theme side we would add in for it.
As for the sidebar, you can control what exact content shows in sidebars using a plugin like this one : http://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/
