    Hi there!

    I’m using WP Courseware in my website. The course units appear as a post and WP Courseware provide a tutorial in which they explain how to add a ‘full-width, no sidebar template’. Therefore I’ve to upload a file called single-unit.php, based on the Enfold single.php.

    In the Enfold single.php I deleted the part with ‘get_sidebar’, but still the sidebar appears in my course units.

    Can you tell me which part of the Single.php I’ve to delete to solve this issue?

    Hey Judith,

    Not 100% I understand what you are trying to do but you can select not to display a sidebar on a page in the Layout menu to the right in the edit screen of the page. Please link to the site in question and try to explain a bit further what you are looking to achieve.

    Hi Rikard,
    Thanks for your response. What I’m trying to achieve is a ‘WP Courseware Unit page’, without a sidebar.

    WP Courseview automatically changes pages in posts, and this posts (based on Enfold Single.php) automatically have a sidebar. WP Courseware gives the opportunity to work with a substitute for Single.php, called single-unit.php.

    To make this single-unit.php, I have to copy the Enfold single.php and delete some lines which make the sidebar appear.

    I hope this makes clear for you what I’m trying to do? Looking forward to your response.

    I know this post is really old, but it looked liked it was still open. I found a code snippet on the WP Courseware support site about adding sidebar support for the Genesis theme. I imagine we could do the same for Enfold support. Here is a screenshot of the support page with the code snippet: https://www.screencast.com/t/OMJdDT1k

    Here is a screenshot of a Unit in WP Coureware that shows the options on the right. There is no Sidebar support like with normal pages or posts. https://www.screencast.com/t/QeoFNBQdM
