Remove bundled version of layer slider completely or how to get updates?

Hello,

I bought a license code for layer slider, but actually it is not possible to update layer slider.
The activation of the bundled version of layer slider within Enfold works properly, but not the updates.
So I tried to read all the topics concerning the update of the bundled version of layer slider.

But for me it was a little bit confusing what exactly to do.

They recommend to completely remove the bundled version of layer slider and reinstall it.

Well, I don’t know how to do that exactly for there is no installed plugin to remove.

And another point is that I will loose the functionality of layer slider in the enfold editor through the removal of the bundled layer slider.

In the topics I have read I slightly have the impression that one support of the the two protagonists pass the ball to one another.

So, please can you as the developers of the theme exactly tell me what to do in this case?

1. Should I completely deinstall the bundled version of layer slider (including the removal of the entries of the database) and if so how could I do that step for step?
2. In my opinion the more elegant way: is there any chance or way to get the updates for layer slider using the purchase code of layer slider within the Enfold theme?
