Hi guys,
I seems that the related product under any single product page is any product of the same categories.
I think these related products should be the one listed under the “linked products (either up sell or cross sell).
Is there a workaround for this (I think this needs to be corrected in the next release?)?March 2, 2014 at 2:57 pm #231256I found out that the “related products” will products under the same categories/tags.
But, how to show the cross sells products (usually shown as “You may also like”) under the single product pages that usually shows up when using the default Twenty Thirteen theme? Even after I add cross sells products to any product, it won’t show. And the term “You may also like” (I know it’s WooCommerce’s issue) is also not accurate.
Any workaround would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Currently running WooCommerce v2.1.2 and Enfold v2.5.4.
March 4, 2014 at 8:56 am #232075Hi!
You need to edit the up-sells and cross-sells for each product. Edit the product item then look for Linked Products panel. The selected products will be shown under the “You might also like” area.

Thank you for your reply.
But, I guess that’s why I did. Nothing show up except the related products.
It’s weird…March 4, 2014 at 2:12 pm #232200Hey!
Can you please give us a link to the product page with the up-sells and cross-sells linked products?

I just tested it again on a clean installation with Enfold 2.5.4 and WooCommerce 2.1.3 and the upsell products (“May also like” products) are displayed on the single product page. The cross sell products will be displayed on the cart page (see: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/ ). If they do not work on your server please install the latest version of WooCommerce and deactivate all third party extensions/plugins except WooCommerce. If the upsell products show up afterwards a third party plugin probably removes them from the single product page.
Cheers!

So, basically it’s a misconception on my side. So, cross sell could only show on cart page.
Thank you and sorry.
