    Hi Support, I am the webmaster for SMRT Blog site which is using Enfold theme as the base theme in our WordPress configuration. The API was owned by our vendor who have decided not to provide us with their API key as we are looking to update the existing Enfold theme (3.6.10) to the latest version.

    We are thinking to purchase an API key separately. May I understand how do we go about it and can we replace the existing API that is tagged to our current Enfold setup, with a different API if we purchased our own?

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Yes, you would be able to manually update Enfold to the latest version 4.5 and use new Personal Token which replaced API keys to receive auto updates if you purchase your own license.
