I changed the home page of the site creating a new one because the old one weighed 5.5 mb while the new 880 kb and I renamed the old one with another name. A strange thing is happening, when I edit and update the new one and click to see the result I always see the old home that now has another name. I can’t understand why. I empty the browser cache, I empty the cache of w3 total cache that I installed for the first time in my life on this site but nothing changes. If you want to have a look, I always have the administrator profile:

When I enter in the new home clicking edit page (I recommend you don’t touch anything that is enough a small change that turns everything upside down) and then I click on view page instead of seeing the home makes me see chi-siamo

Giuseppe BeghelliThe Enfold theme is wonderful full of options but it has become so fragile that I have lost 5 times a list of icons with animation because of minor changes. Never delete the revisions at least in this way you can return to the previous ones.

You mean the preview of the home page is taking you to the old page, right? Hmmm, I clicked on the preview button, I got to the same page as the home page.
Could you please clear the cache, check again and get back to us.

And it continues on any browser I use and any computer, tablet, smartphone, adsl line I use.
You just had to login to my site.
Go to pages>all pages and click on edit of my home and, once you enter wait for the page for changes to be loaded, then click on the top view page.
Only this you had to do and you would have landed at the page called chi-siamoI don’t know what is happening to this theme but in my other only open topic I just reported a bug that should be fixed immediately.

Evidently In the preview page exits the same page but if you click on the top on visualizza pagina exit the page chi-siamo
Try it and you’ll see and that’s not normal.
The preview changes button is used to see if the changes you have made are correct before publishing the page. This is what the wordpress key is for. If you use it to show me that what I’m saying is wrong you can see that you have not really understood.
I also wrote you a tutorial on which buttons you had to click but if you use these subterfuges I give up and tell you that you’re right. Nothing unusual happens on my site so you’ll be happy.
But let me say that this behaviour is not at all professional and I doubt that Mr. Kriesi would be proud of it.
I am an old, tired and sick man of 62 years and I am not made fun of by anyone, much less by one who, judging by the photo, could be my daughter or my granddaughter. Please don’t let me moderate my threads anymore.
All users of this forum expect a serious and competent intervention.
