Hi – I’m looking at my stats and not sure why I’ve got some visitors land on
Home Page / Archive- which is my website at http://dominiquehurley.com
and some landing on
Home
which temporarily shows up as one url (half black, half grey) and then goes to my basic one above
http://dominiquehurley.com/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/Any way to figure out why that is happening?

What stats exactly? Did you use a plugin? A screenshot of this will help.

IsmaelSorry Ismael. Yes, I use SEO by Yoast. Here’s a screen shot. You’ll see there’s both Home and Home Page/Archive. When I click Home, it has your old Enfold address in grey and switches to my url after.

Hi!
I’m not sure what you mean by that but the page you have set as your front page is called home-v7-one-page-portfolio, if you want to change the name of it you can simply edit and rename it to for instance Home or something like that.

RikardI need more help on this please. I’ve looked in Appearance -> Menu and I only have Home there with http://dominiquehurley.com . I don’t have home-v7-one-page-portfolio . See screen shot at

BUT I did find something I don’t understand in ALL PAGES. There’s no home-v7… but my “Home” page has that as a “slug”. I’ve never come across that word before, so I’m not sure if I can change that without damaging my site. Hi Dominique!
A slug is just a custom link name.
If you remove the slug, it will automatically change to “home”.

The only thing that may be at risk when changing/removing a slug is if their are external links for “http://dominiquehurley.com/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/”
If you didn’t distribute that link, you can freely change the slug.

DakeThanks for that answer. I’m not sure if I’ve ever used that link. Is there a way to do a search on my site? Or should I use Velvet Blues to change them all just in case? Is that the kind of thing Velvet Blues does?
Thank you.Actually, that’s OK. I just deleted it and tested around. I can’t imagine ever having used that url and it’s been changing quickly when it appears, so I believe this issue is resolved. Thanks.
