    Hi!

I’d need to known where the Category link addresses are configured.

My category pages are redirected to custom pages, but since I have been changing “http” to “https” in my theme, I suspect this is causing the pages to no longer redirect.

For instance, “/category/innovation/” should link to “/innovation/”, but it no longer does. Same with “”/category/brokerage/” and “/category/new-build/”

    Any idea?

    Regards,
    Poirot

    Hey Poirot,

You can change the category base under Settings->Permalinks. Not sure what you are using for redirecting though?

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for helping! I use redirecting because I can’t seem to customize my Category pages — which I want to be different than the main blog layout. Maybe there is another way around?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

There’s a plugin specifically created for this and it is base on Yoast’s strip category settings. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-remove-category-base

    Hi Ismael,

Thanks for this solution. Is there is no alternative to customise the category pages within the theme? I’d prefer that, otherwise I’ll install the plugin.

    Hi,

Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. Please consider using the plugin :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit
