I would like to recreate an Enfold element:
Kriesi Enfold Demo: Portfolio (Video filter) > Soccer ball(Single Portfolio: Full Slider) > Video pop-up
Here are the associated images for link above:
Single Portfolio: Full Slider Video
Lightbox Pop-up Video
Can help guide me to recreate this on my test site?

March 9, 2017 at 9:57 pm #758583Thanks Jordan,
Unfortunately the pages on the Enfold demo doesn’t have an exact link for some reason. It would be more convenient if they did.
If you follow this link: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/
Select the Video filter, you’ll see the slider I’d like to recreate.
If you select the soccer ball image you’ll see the video light-box I’d like to recreate also.
March 9, 2017 at 11:02 pm #758618Hey!
Here are the shortcodes used on that page
http://pastebin.com/S5uZtzG0You can give it a look and copy it as per what you like.
Let us know if that is helpful.
Also – we do try to take care of all the tickets as fast as possible, we are sorry if you see others do get replies faster.Best regards,
BasilisMarch 10, 2017 at 1:45 am #758654I appreciate you sending the short code. I tried it, but it didn’t help me with creating an alb element or image that opens a lightbox with an embedded youtube video. It doesn’t have to be a portfolio. Just anything that would work.
Do you have any ideas?
March 15, 2017 at 10:36 am #761269Hi!
Please edit the portfolio item then look for the “Overwrite Portfolio Link setting”. Set it to manual then add the url of the video. The video will open in a lightbox once you clicked on the portfolio item.

And I would like to apologize for the late response and the confusion. We will try our best to respond in a timely fashion next time.

IsmaelMarch 16, 2017 at 5:32 am #761719Hi,
I’ve never made a portfolio item. I’m of course willing to try. What I’d like, just to get things rolling, is the easiest way to create an element that would launch a lightbox with a Youtube linked video.
Is there a simple way to do this?

Jordan ShannonMarch 16, 2017 at 3:54 pm #762009Hey!
Any link with youtube or vimeo as url will open in a lightbox. If you need an image, just insert the Image element, set the Image Link? settings to manual then add the video url. If you want to recreate the Single Portfolio: Full Slider demo, it is required to create portfolio items then add the video url in the Overwrite Portfolio Link setting field.
Cheers!
IsmaelMarch 16, 2017 at 9:47 pm #762226Thank you. This got me up and running:
If you need an image, just insert the Image element, set the Image Link? settings to manual then add the video url.
The video link now opens a lightbox from an Enfold “Icon Box” element on the homepage. Excellent :)

Jordan ShannonMay 9, 2018 at 2:36 pm #953949Hi there,
thanks for the great theme!I’m trying to insert a vimeo-video als a portfolio item to open in the lightbox as discribed:
Please edit the portfolio item then look for the “Overwrite Portfolio Link setting”. Set it to manual then add the url of the video. The video will open in a lightbox once you clicked on the portfolio item.
But it seems something doesn’t work proper. It should end up like this: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/ (Video with football image)
the configuration panel to overvrite the custom link looks something broken aswell….?- This reply was modified 6 years, 7 months ago by Nebelspecht.
May 11, 2018 at 11:33 am #955187Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
You should not include the whole iframe or embed tag. Just add the vimeo video url and it will automatically be detected by the lightbox script. Let us know if you need further help.

IsmaelMay 11, 2018 at 11:45 am #955193Hi Ismael, thanks for your reply.
That is, what I was trying to do, but it seems the theme doen’t save the link. The shown screenshot above is what always shows up after saving, including this iframe-code pice…
The Portfolio entry shows the Play Bouttom but links only to the preview image.Best regards, Marcel
May 14, 2018 at 9:29 pm #956671Hi,
Have you tried to create a shortcode that outputs the iframe and then use that one to get the results of the iframe?
Best regards,
BasilisMay 15, 2018 at 9:41 am #956866Hi Basilis,
hopefully I understand you right.
Yes, I tried a lot of methods and also tried all kind of Links, shortcodes in this input field while I had no success. Maybe that resulted in this behavior of this field. Now this code-pice keeps showing of all the time and I coudn’t get ist working normal.I recognized now, that when I create a new portfolio-item, the input field shows of the normal “http://” So I created a new portfolio item and tried it again and voilá: it woks like it should. Tought it was a bug of the hole function and not a problem with this especific portfolio item that i managed to get messed up with the wrong input ;-)
Thanks for your help that pushed me in the right direction!
Best regards!
