    Hi,
I have a dual language site using WPML. On the bottom of every blog-entry there is a section that says: “You might also like:” and a number of recommended blog entries.
I noticed that one of the blog entries recommended is one in another language that I am in.
There is a category, Detox, that is the same in both languages. Could this be the reason. Shouldn’t it be able to discern the different languages, though?
    Any suggestions?

    Hey Jon Erik,

Sorry for the late reply, could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Regards,
    Rikard

Thanks, the info is in the private section.
I see more and more it is a problem using the same category name over different language.

    Hi,

Could you try updating to the latest version (3.6.1) of the theme to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    Hi,

when I switch to norwegian language then it seems to be translated fine:

If you’re talking about any 3rd party plugins then please ask plugin’s author about the issue and/or WPML support about it.

Would be best for us to provide us screenshots of the issue, so it’s clear for us what you’re talking about. Use imgur.com, dropbox.

    Best regards,

    Hi,
Two of the articles are recommended in two languages. It should only be recommended in the language you are in (Norwegian in your example).

    Hi,

Please deactivate all plugins one by one but WPML by OnTheGoSystems to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi,
    Sorry about the delay.

I have deactivated all plugins except WPML plugins and the problem still exists. There are still a mix of Norwegian and English blogs on the recommended list.

    Thanks,
    Jon Erik

    Hi,

you may want to ask WPML support about the issue. What it their response on this?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Support at WPML solved the problem by adding the attached code to the php-template.
Is there a way to make this a standard part of Enfold as I am sure I’m not the only using more than one language.

    WPML php changes

    Thanks,
    Jon Erik

    Hey!

You can always suggest a new feature here

so Kriesi can review and based on the interest, to include into an upcoming release.

Please let us know if we can help you further

    Regards,
    Basilis
