Hi,
I set a Google reCaptcha v3 in Enfold setting “Google services” , then I tried to set the reCapthca in an Enfold contact form, setting te reCaptcha v3(fallback v2) looks like it’s alway v2 active, with the classic version as you can see in the screeshot, shouldn’t it be invisible? That’s why I’m asking. Moreover, I’m receiving a lot of spam emails from the website forms, I have a doubt that it’s not working as it should.
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards

Thank you for the inquiry.
The screenshot is actually showing the security question, not the recaptcha v2. Please make sure that the contact form’s Content > Security > Contact Form Captcha is set to the fourth option.
Best regards,

Most likely this violates european data protections laws (see the Schrems II landmark ruling).I assume the contact form is submitted by a PHP script? Isn’t there any chance to check if your own captcha has been filled in correctly?
You might also consider the usage of some invisible honeypot textfield. See https://dev.to/felipperegazio/how-to-create-a-simple-honeypot-to-protect-your-web-forms-from-spammers–25n8Kind regards

Thank you for info.
There is an additional Privacy & Cookies options in the theme if you want to initially disable the external scripts including the spam protection and maps from Google, until the users give their consent to enable those features. The scripts will not work unless the visitor accepted the cookies.
