Hello everyone, I just migrated from recaptcha v2 to v3, adding the keys in Enfold options // Google Services. The keys are correct, but the badge is not showing up.
Please can you help?
Kind regards
SimoneApril 4, 2019 at 7:30 am #1086805Hey ilsymo,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

I have entered the keys for v3 and it seems to be correct. But on the contact form, nothing appears except the old sum captcha.

Thanks for the update.
We actually removed the v3 badge because it doesn’t sit well with the theme’s design or layout. The submit button text should change to “Authenticating..” during the v3 verification and revert back to the actual submit label once the visitor or user is verified. Use the v2 version of the option if you want to see the reCAPTCHA widget.

IsmaelApril 9, 2019 at 12:45 am #1088455I’ve just noticed that my site is experiencing the same issue (with both v3 and v2). reCaptcha v3 just sits at “Authenticating…” and reCaptcha v2 doesn’t even show a submit button.
I’ve checked the stats over at https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/ and can see that this stopped working on the 3rd April even though no changes have been made to my site. It doesn’t show failures, just no stats since that point.
Any ideas?
Tom.

April 9, 2019 at 2:42 am #1088495Hi,
@feltips83: Did you generate separate API keys for both versions? Make sure that you’re using the appropriate API keys for each version.Best regards,
IsmaelApril 10, 2019 at 4:37 am #1088957Yeah I sure did. I’ve been happily using the reCapture v3 since you added the feature but then it recently stopped working and just shows Authenticating and no stats showing in the Google console for it anymore. I had originally created API keys for both and only changed it to v2 just to test if that was broken aswell.
April 12, 2019 at 12:35 am #1089787Hi,
Thanks for the update.
@feltips83: Would you mind if we take a look at the dashboard? Please open a new ticket or thread and put the necessary credentials in the private field.Best regards,
