Hi, I have several “Enfold” sites and they are all quite slow on the editing side. Now I have a big problem with one of the sites. I can’t date anything on the site. Even editing the header doesn’t work.

I have already asked the server admins for help. They replied that the theme’s javascript is slowing down the entire site.

Now I need your help to resolve this issue.

    Best regards

    Sebastian

    Hey sebastiankjall,

Thanks for the login details. There are a lot of Javascript errors on the site while editing a page, none of them are theme related. What happens if you temporarily deactivate all plugins?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that. What happens if you try to reinstall WordPress, or activate the parent theme?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. This does not seem to be theme related, since the error is coming from core WordPress files, it looks like the it’s not present on all pages though? I checked the blog page, and it doesn’t look to be present there?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Do you have a staging site on the hosting account in question? If so, then try adding a new site and upload a fresh copy of the theme to see what happens then.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I tried activating the classic editor in the theme options, and that seems to have helped. I’m not sure why this is happening on your installation unfortunately, we haven’t been able to reproduce it and we haven’t had any other users with the same problem.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
