Hi! I updated the Enfold template version to 4.6, and after this the “read more” button in the cookie bar on top of page is not active anymore. It is not a matter of wrong linking, because the destination page is still there and the link reference is correct, but it is not active.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
BrunoSeptember 1, 2019 at 1:40 am #1132597Hey grafiko_at_62,
Do you believe that it is due to the cookie bar at the top? I couldn’t recreate this error. Please link to your site so we can assist.
Have you tried to disable your plugins to rule out a conflict?Best regards,
MikeSeptember 1, 2019 at 2:35 pm #1132673Hi, Mike,
Thanks for your answer,I use the Enfold option “Privacy and Cookies” and there are two problems after the update:
the first problem was also found by other people, here is the link
the second problem: I have a “read more” button but even if the link is right, it does not go to the specific page. That is, the link no longer works. with the previous version 4.5.7 it was all right.
Forgive me for my bad English.
thank you
Best regards
BrunoSeptember 1, 2019 at 6:53 pm #1132695September 1, 2019 at 11:02 pm #1132747Hi, Mike,
I don’t know if my client wants to provide access to the site’s control panel. I’ll ask him if I really need to.I will write you the link to the site:
the pop up cookies policy if you click on “ok” disappears, but if you browse another page, reappears, this is wrong and the button “read more” (read more) does not go to the page, does not go anywhere the link in the internal settings is correct. This is a bug.
If that’s useful, I can also send the screens (I couldn’t paste it here) with the settings, which haven’t changed since version 4.5.7.
thanks for the help
BrunoSeptember 1, 2019 at 11:12 pm #1132749Hi,
This may be because the latest Enfold version 4.6 has removed your associated Privacy page.
Try going to settings + privacy and see if a page is selected. But there is clearly an error on the Cookie bar page

September 1, 2019 at 11:42 pm #1132756Hi,
Thank you for the link, I tested your site by accepting the cookie and then checking many more pages but I didn’t get another cookie notice. The browsers I tested in were Chrome, Firefox, Edge & IE11Your cookie notice looks different than the new install version, I believe that your old settings are interfering with the new settings, you see Enfold doesn’t remove data, but when a major change like this cookie update takes place the data is merged into the best or closest option. Please carefully go through the new options and check each one.
Best regards,
MikeSeptember 2, 2019 at 9:25 am #1132896Hi,
thanks for the answers
I tried to clear the browser cache and now the ok button works.
The “Leggi di più” (Read more) button still doesn’t link the page. Also deleting and recreating a new link to a new page.arghhhhh!!!!!!
Best regards
BrunoSeptember 2, 2019 at 11:30 am #1132930Hi, same problem here.
It seems that both button: OK and LEARN MORE consent cookies, the LEARN MORE BUTTON doesn’t bring to the “learn more page”. I manually inserted in the privacy/cookies settings.
Another problem: in contact forms enfold doesn’t show me the privacy checkbox, even if i have checked the option on privacy/cookie settings.
In another website, I also have one more problem: background color customization for the cookie consent message bar doesn’t work (image attached).
Everything was working before the 4.6 update.

September 5, 2019 at 5:39 am #1134192Hi,
The dev team is investigating this and creating a fix. Thank you for your patience.
@darioferbor please create a new thread as it becomes complicated to address issues from multiple members in the same thread, thank you for your understanding.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 5, 2019 at 8:12 am #1134229Hi Mike, the issue is exactly the same for all the users, open a new thread seems useless and dispersive to me.
Anyway I’m following this thread instead where a lot of people have the same exactly issues:Thank you.
September 5, 2019 at 7:45 pm #1134584Hello,

RainerSeptember 6, 2019 at 3:42 am #1134702Hi,
Enfold 4.6.1 has been released at Theme Forest, please note that the version number may still say v4.6, this was just a typo.
Please read more here
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this could leave old files behind and cause errors.Best regards,
MikeSeptember 6, 2019 at 5:18 am #1134715The 4.6.1 update seems to have solved the Cookie Consent issue with the bar and maps. BUT the Privacy Checkbox “text” is missing for the MailChimp (short code) forms. For now I’ve turned off the Privacy Checkbox for MailChimp (short code) forms.
I cleared the cache and tested this on every major browser to include MAC and PC.
FIX?

VictoriaSeptember 10, 2019 at 4:21 pm #1136589Hello,
After the update 4.6.1, all the websites I built for clients are a mess now. Privacy statements in Forms, Backgroundcolor of Cookie message bar, Accept and More Info buttons and language problems. I hope you will create a fix within a couple of days because this cannot happen. It will take days for me to fix it on all websites. In my opinion you’ll have to test better before launching an update of Enfold.
I am really, really disappointed
Marcel

All of the privacy text options for checkboxes are enabled.
