Hi,
I created a child theme (enfold-child), but have some problems with customized widgets. I activated the parent Enfodl again to check some things (I changed nothing else). Now I want to activate the child theme again, but it is not in the list. How is that possible? How to solve?December 10, 2015 at 9:34 pm #550722Hey Andrej!
So in Dashboard > Appearance > Themes you do not see your child theme anymore? Or you are adding a custom widget and do not see it in the child theme? Are you sure you added the code to the child theme functions.php file?
Cheers!

BasilisDecember 10, 2015 at 11:39 pm #550771Hi Elliot, Basilis,
Thanks for helping! Yes, in Dashboard > Appearance > Themes I do not see my child theme anymore. I see only Twenty Thirteen, Twenty Fourteen, Twenty Fifteen and Enfold. But the child theme is gone! I am quite new with enwis, but this looks very strange to me. The files of the child theme still exists.
Can you maybe also have a look at the widgets in the footer (all pages). It is not really customized, just a little bit changed to meet my wishes :-). In the Enfold theme it is correct: 2 columns with ‘Nieuws’ and ‘Reiservaringen’. Using the childtheme it is showing I think the standard Enfold behaviour. Or should I make another posting? Are you sure that it is the correct url? Please provide the actual login url. I tried wp-admin and wp-login but it’s not working.
Best regards,
IsmaelDecember 12, 2015 at 4:12 pm #551445Yes it is the correct url. But I forgot something – see info in the private content.

December 14, 2015 at 8:41 am #552012Hi,
I couldn’t see a child theme in the backend, could you try to download one from here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/downloads/ and then upload it to see if that works better?
Thanks,
RikardDecember 15, 2015 at 12:11 am #552673Hi Rikard,
Yes, this is working! What I have done: back to the situation without coding and just created the child-theme the way you suggest. Of course I have to create and test the code again, but at least the issue in this post has been solved. Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Andrej -
