I’m having big problems with the quick css on my site. Basically anytime I make changes to the quick css, it doesn’t really update. I keep clearing the cache, etc. and it makes no difference, it’s very problematic and seems to revert randomly back to old codes I had in there. Wondering if you can help sort this out, it’s wasting a lot of my time.

    Hey ChristineGerman,

Thanks for the login details. How can we test/reproduce the problems you are having?

    Best regards,

Just try making any changes at all to the quick CSS. You’ll find it doesn’t always respond.

Things I’ve been trying to do are:
-change the main menu font type to Metrophobic
-get rid of the extra spacing below a blog grid layout area (bottom of the “Latest” section on my page and bottom of “Digital Features” section.
-make the main blog post body font size a little larger.
-I also have coding in to create a mouse-hover text for the link headings on my home page…but actually it’s made a hover color for all headings (even un-linked ones), which I didn’t want.

Please note I do have a child theme setup, so if it’s better to create shortcodes for the child theme, perhaps you can help with do that. This quick CSS thing, has so far been very unreliable.

Same thing happens when I try to change something in the Advanced Styling menu…again I’m trying to adjust the font to a size I like. It allowed me to change to Metrophobic, but the size changes I’m making don’t do anything. AND now when I delete the font change to metrophobic, it just stays stuck on that font.

    Hi,

have you cleared your cache so you can review the page?
Or does that happen you try to update?
Can you please provide us with backend details for us?

    Best regards,
    Basilis
