Please can you help me with the Quick CSS? Since last week every change I make is not working in the front end.

It worked fine initially, then there was a period when everything took a while to appear on the front end and now some elements do not appear at all.

I have tried to empty the cache and deleted the enfold.css file in the hope that it would be replaced but the code in the file is very long and is not the same as the code in the Dashboard. As if it keeps adding any changes to the file.

I have created an admin login attached.

    Thank you

    Hey jscarlett,

Can you try to replace the double quotes on your Quick CSS, their showing as “ instead of ” and if I check it on the frontend it shows as some symbols and causes it to not work properly.
If that doesn’t help, try to disable CSS file merging and compression temporarily in Enfold > Performance.
    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Hi Nikko

Thanks very much for your reply and replacing the double quotes has resolved the problem!

    Hi Nikko

I was mistaken – the Quick CSS is still not working.

Your suggested changes to the double quotes solved the problem of that element not appearing but since then other changes are not showing.

Do you have any other ideas please?

    Thanks

    Hi Jane,

I saw at least one other error in Quick css and fixed it. You might want to validate it through some service like https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

    Best regards,

    Hi Victoria

That’s very useful and I have found and corrected two errors using that link.

    Thank you
