January 12, 2024 at 2:54 am #1429847Hi northorie,
I apologize for the delayed response.
1. The background color for pricing table is based on the Primary Color which is set in Enfold > General Styling > Main Content (tab) > Primary Color.
2. The Milestone Title uses H2 Heading and you can change the its font in Enfold > Advanced Styling > then select H2.
3. You can set Background Image Position for that, you can see the option just below where you set the Custom Background Image.
4. You can change it in Enfold > General Styling > Logo Area (tab), just set Logo Area Font Color
5. Is the parting line a border of a Section or a Separator? can you give us an example of the parting line?Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 12, 2024 at 2:47 pm #1429902Thanks for your reply!
1. I will try
2. I will try
3. I already did. Mid left, mid right, mid mid.. nothing works. It seems to me the center is the middle of the row, not the middle of the cell I want the background picture to be in
4. I will try
5. I meant “seperator” – just dind’t get the right word in englich ;)January 13, 2024 at 3:54 am #1429956Hi northorie,
3. Can you give us a link to the page? so we can check it further.
5. No worries, edit the Separator and then set Horizontal Ruler Styling to Custom, many options will appear at the bottom including an option to change the color.
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 13, 2024 at 10:52 am #1429974Thanks, I’ve got everything clear except of the background-picture-problem and hover on shrinked header menu.
Site is in private content.Best regards
January 14, 2024 at 2:27 pm #1430047Hi,
I believe that you are asking how to center the man holding umbrella image that is in your grid row:
in your grid row background image you would choose the background image position of Top Center:
so the image will be centered left & right and the top of the image will show:
or you can choose Center Center if you don’t care if the top of the umbrella shows.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 14, 2024 at 8:15 pm #1430086Hi Mike,
thanks for your reply! Yes, that’s what I want, but it doesn’t work. It only looks good on preview but not on the live site.
If I set the image to “scroll” instead of “fixed” it looks great. If I set it to “fixed” the dimensions are “out of control”Other question: Ich changed the images on startpage from “image with hotspot” to a normal image. Now there is a space between the three images and I don’t know why. Images are the same dimension as with hotspot. Images with hotspot have no space between them.
January 14, 2024 at 8:33 pm #1430088Hi,
Each image has a bottom margin, Try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:#welcome .avia-image-container.avia-align-center { margin: 0; }
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Best regards,
MikeJanuary 15, 2024 at 12:03 pm #1430150Thank you, that worked perfectly fine :)
What about my problem with the background images though? Any Soution? Do the images need to have a certain resolution to fit?
January 16, 2024 at 5:02 pm #1430733Hi,
Thank you for your patience, I have asked the Dev Team to review this issue and will reply when they have reviewed and replied. Thank you for your patienceBest regards,
MikeJanuary 19, 2024 at 5:29 pm #1431504Hi,
Thanks for your patience, the Dev Team refers to this documentation for the CSS background-attachment the fixed applys to the viewport, and local is relative to element, so in the case of gridrow cell this is what should be used to center the image in the cell.
Using fixed is not correct, so the Dev Team is adding a new “local” option to the element in the next update.
Unfortunately this behaves very similar to the “scroll” option, it will not give you the “fixed” effect that you are looking for.
So for now you could use the “scroll” option, or you could try adjusting the image so when you use “fixed” the center of the image to more to the left.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 20, 2024 at 1:58 pm #1431554Hi Mike,
thanks for your reply.
Why does it work on your demo-site though?Best regards
January 20, 2024 at 2:28 pm #1431557Hi,
I assume that you mean in my screenshot, there I was using the “scroll” option.
In some of our demos we use a image element inside of the grid row and in others we use a column element with a background image in a grid row, try these options and if this doesn’t help then link to the demo that you are referring to and I can tell you the settings and elements used.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 21, 2024 at 1:23 pm #1431610January 21, 2024 at 2:14 pm #1431618Hi,
On the Freelancer Demo the behavior for the fixed background image is the same as on your site, were the center of the background image is in the center of the page and not in the center of the cell. This is the image:
and this is how it shows in the grid row:
There is no date for the next release right now, but you can use the “scroll” option for now as it will give the same result for you.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 21, 2024 at 8:00 pm #1431634Thank you :) I stick with “scroll” then.
Other questions on this theme:
1. How can I ajust the main font size to a respnsive size. It don’t want to make it 20px, but variable on desktop, mobile and tablet. Is this possible?
2. On the iPad is a space at the top and at the bottom of the pictures on the main page. How to get rod of them?
3: How to force the mobile version on iPad portrait mode (I want this on my other pages as well)
4. The color of the date on a timeline won’t change. It stays the heading-colorBest regards
January 21, 2024 at 11:10 pm #1431646Hi,
To adjust the main font size for different screen sizes please go to Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Typography ▸ Advanced Options: Customize Typography Settings you will see a option for four screen sizes:
After selecting these ensure that you clear your cache and caching plugins, and if your server is using a object-oriented cache such as Memcached, Redis, Varnish, Litespeed, etc. you may need to also clear it.
