Question before re-buying a licence

I bought the theme when it came up and there was no mention at the time that I would need to buy a yearly support license…this came years after you launched the theme. Isn t there a grandfathered option?

Anyway I have recently started using the theme and I can not find a way to have a color section with a video playing in the background to be behind the header. Before I pay for support can you confirm if this is possible or not with the theme? This means you have a video background with the menu on top and both disppear when you scroll down.
