I am constructing a page with no side bar. If I want to use at the top of the page a text block to create a title, is there a proper build approach as I see it works if I drag the text builder into the work area or if I first place a 1/1 layout element and put the text block within that.

They look the same when previewing , is one way better than the other?

Keep in mind that underneath, I will be adding lots of other elements.

    Thanks ahead for any insights!

    Hi gb!

Both approach is fine but by using a 1/1 layout element the text block sits inside an extra div element and it’s good if you want to make it a block. It will reserve it’s space.

Thanks for the reply Vinay. Could you explain to me what the benefit is of a block and reserving space? Sorry not following that part, thanks..

    Hi,

I think there is no real benefit in your case. In general the benefit would be that you would have some space to add some other elements next to each other.
