    Hello,
on my homepage some thumbnails are qualitatively very bad in color. As soon as an image is opened via the link on the preview image, the color of the images becomes again. What can I change here, that the quality of the preview image is.
Is anyone able to help me?
    Many Thanks.

    Hi Victoria,
    Thanks for your help.
I deleted the browser cache in different browsers, but no changes have occurred.
The third image on your link https://cl.ly/6f5e6be7f9a3 is one of the preview images with the poor color quality, but only the preview of the masonry gallery.
The main picture on the back is alright and looks a lot better with a comparison.

    Many Thanks,
    Wolfi.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Looks the resized image’s or thumbnail’s color quality has been adjusted during the upload. Did you compress the images using a plugin?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,

    Thanks for your help :-)
No, I did not use a plugin to compress the images.
    Should I take one?

    Yours sincerely,
    Wolfi

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

What is the original format of the image before they were uploaded to the media library? Please make sure that the format is jpeg or png. Would you mind giving us access to the original image so that we can test it on our end?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

It turned out to be an issue with the image’s initial compression. Please check the image details and you should see the color representation set to “uncalibrated” and the compression to “uncompressed”. If you try to resave the image using Photoshop or any image editor, you should be able to recompress the image without altering the color profile. Please check the screenshot.

First image in the screenshot is the “resaved” or “compressed” version and the second one is the original.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,

your tip was great. It was my fault, I have to save all images for the web. And now the preview matches the main picture. Thank you for your help and your theme is very cool and easy to use.

    Best regards,
    Wolfi
