Hey Guys,
Another suggestion for the theme :)
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/guidelines/qualify-outbound-links
Would be a great addition for SEO for every ALB element that includes an option for a link (eg: adding a link to an image, or a heading) to have the following options for that link:
rel=”sponsored”
rel=”nofollow”
(and maybe rel=”ugc” although I can’t see that one being as useful)
Since more than one option could apply, it might need to be tickboxes, so you could select multiple options for that one link (as in Google example above “rel=”ugc,nofollow””)
Thanks for considering it.
Tim
Hey Tim,
Thanks for this info.
I added it to our dev repo.
Have a great day.
Best regards,
Günter
Thanks Gunter, I hope you can consider adding it in a coming update.
Regards
Tim
Hi,
In the next update you will find an option checkbox:
SEO Support -> Support ALB Elements To Qualify Links
Replaces theme support ‘avia_rel_nofollow_for_links’ which already allowed to set the nofollow.
Best regards,
Günter
Hi Gunter,
Wow, that was quick! Brilliant, thank you, I look forward to trying it out as soon as the update is out.
Thanks so much again for actioning these suggestions and continuing to improve Enfold.
Tim
Anytime! I’m sure there will be more suggestions to come :)
Hey Yigit,
Please see below
Thanks
Thanks Gunter.
Hi,
I added filter ‘avf_alb_rel_attr_for_link’ so it is possible to remove the noreferrer attribute for ALB elements.
Best regards,
Günter
Thanks Gunter. This can be closed.
