    my client wants to put three flags next to each other above the menu.
    so below the logo and above the menu.
    is this possible without chosing to work with widgets in a left column?

    Hey jelle,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    It should be possible using the ava_main_header_sidebar action hook, or by directly editing the includes > helper-main-menu.php file or template. The side header starts from line 115 of the said file.
