Just want to transfer a Mac font I’ve used for many design materials into the Enfold theme. Can’t be that hard, right?
May 4, 2017 at 6:38 am #787603Hey phairlever,
Should be easy enough, copy the font to your server then use CSS like this: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_font-face_rule.asp

RikardMay 6, 2017 at 9:12 pm #788936I don’t know how to copy a font to a server, and the folks at tech support at godaddy didn’t either, which is weird. I have read several times, which you reiterate, that the first thing you do is copy the font to the server, then… The guy did mention FTP and other things I have no inkling of. How do you copy a font to a server? And where do I place the code in WP?
Hold off on this. I found a plug in called Use Any Font. See if it works first. I’ll get back to you. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, hope the plugin works out for you. Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.

RikardMay 7, 2017 at 7:44 pm #789159The plugin works. It’s free for one font, which is all I need. Is there any way to make Heading 1 larger? I have the font in H1 and it’s not very big.
Best,
Robert
May 7, 2017 at 10:50 pm #789233Hi,
Try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field:h1 { font-size: 30px !important; }
try out different numbers like 40px, 50px, etc until you see the size you like.

RikardMay 11, 2017 at 9:11 pm #791913The Enfold site looks good, but is loading really slowly on mobile. Suggestions as to how to make it load more quickly?
May 12, 2017 at 7:34 am #792111Hi,
If you run the site through the Pingdom page speed tool then you will get suggestions on how to speed it up: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/

RikardMay 12, 2017 at 7:13 pm #792462by the way – what font is it? – you can use font-squirells webfont generator to get it into a webfont – and i think that will make it a bit easier to embed.

MikeJune 26, 2019 at 9:34 pm #1113718Don’t know if this will actually reach anyone but… I need help with Enfold, which just broke my site entirely. Went in to change a small bit of text in a text box and there was no text there. When I highlighted, text appeared, white and invisible unless highlighted, right? It’s all code, a large chunk of code in the text box, invisible. So I go into this code, find the one word I want to change, change it, save, and after I update, all revisions of the site are gone. I figured whatever I would do wouldn’t make the site go all wonky, figured I could just go back to a revision, but every revision there is no sign of anything ever being built in Enfold. The Enfold area is blank. Tried at least 30 revisions, a couple from over a year ago. I’m planning a launch and I must get this working by 1 pm tomorrow.
