    Hi Kriesi,

Regarding the custom CSS field under Enfold > General Styling. You often say “Put under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file”.

Can I just Cut all the code that is in the Custom CSS Field area and then paste it in the child themes custom.css?? I believe that not every custom change is then used by the theme but I may be confused.

Is there an order in wich CSS is loaded? Like first the style.css of the theme itself, next the custom.css in the child theme and as last the custom CSS changes in the field area in Enfold? Just want to understand.

All this is because I am afraid that somehow I make unwanted changes or in case of a crash / error I lose much of these custom settings. If they are in a real file on the server I know I Can backup is easily.

Thanks for the help, great support as always.
Enfold is still the best theme I ever used!

    Hey Aerdvark,

Yes you can grab all the css from quick css and insert it into child theme styles.css not custom.css

Please check this documentation for more info http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

    Best regards,
    Vinay
