GuestHi there
I have taken over as the website developer for a website which uses the Enfold theme
As such I don’t have a purchase code for the theme as this was bought by a previous developer.
Is there a way I can register for the support forum as I have an issue that I need help with.
Many thanks
June 25, 2020 at 1:42 pm #1225487Hey Michelle,
You can’t register on the support forum unless you have a purchase code unfortunately, and if you don’t have access to the Themeforest account which purchased the license either then you won’t have access to any theme updates.
If you have a question which you need answered quickly then you can ask it here.
Best regards,

GuestAh that’s a bit of a conundrum!
The question I have is to do with the Separator/Whitespace element.
The previous developer has colour coded every single separator on the site individually and now the client wants to change the colour!
So I thought I would just remove the colour defined in the element and let it pick up the one set in theme settings.
But I can’t seem to find which of the many colour settings in the theme this element defaults to if the colour is left blank. I have tried setting border colours in the theme on every tab but the separators remain white (which isn’t defined anywhere) unless I put a code into the element itself.
If you could just point me to which theme setting this element picks up the default colour from, that would be fantastic.
many thanks

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

GuestThis reply has been marked as private.June 27, 2020 at 5:29 pm #1226091Hi Michelle McDines,
Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css, if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css
.hr-custom .hr-inner.inner-border-av-border-fat { border-color: #840a89 !important; }
If you need further assistance please let us know.

GuestMany thanks for this but I am unclear why I have to add additional CSS when the element says that if I leave the colour definition blank it will pick up the default style. I want to know which of the standard colour definitions in the theme settings this element picks up.
Also can you point me towards where in the documentation it is defined what elements of the site use the “Main Content” styling and which parts use “Alternate Content ” styling
Thanks

GuestYes I know that as you will see from my original description of the problem.
What I am still trying to establish is
a) which of the colour settings does the separator element take its colour from when you leave it set to default (as it isn’t picking up any of the colours I have set)
b) where is a list of what is classed as “Main Content” and what is classed as “Alternate Content”
July 2, 2020 at 11:52 am #1227441Hi,
Thank you for the update.
a.) The separator takes the General Styling > Main Content > Border colors color value.
b.) There’s no such list because you can manually set the Color Section’s Styling > Section Colors to have the main content or alternate styling. Everything or every element inside that section will inherit the designated colors.
Best regards,
