Hi –
Found an interesting potential bug. What I’ve found is when I save / update a post whilst in the Avia editor mode, default WordPress functionality doesn’t work (e.g., I don’t see the post image, post title, author, etc.). However, if I switch to the default editor and then save / update the post, both WordPress functionality AND Avia layout elements work fine.
Is this expected behavior or do have have a setting wrong in Enfold setup?
Thanks!
Hey jbinmn,
It’s not a bug. It is the intended behavior. When you use the Advanced Layout Builder to make posts, they are treated as pages and the basic WordPress post functionalities are not there, you can add some if you need.
When you make posts via default editor you can still use the Advanced Layout Builder shortcodes but mot in a WYSIWYG mode.
Best regards,
Victoria
Thanks for getting back to me. The answer makes sense and I know what to do. Please close this thread.
