It would seem the problems is still there once we add all the sub-categories to the product slider. you can see this at http://www.retrofrocks.com/test we also made sure the fix was inside the function.php, which it was:

As per my last comment, we have re-created a new test server and have done a fresh upload of wordpress / woocommerce / enfold (latest version)We then set up enfold as the same as the live server, we also imported all our products into the basic woocommerce shop and created a basic front page with the slider on it. THIS WORKS
We then uploaded all the plugins that we use and made active the ones we need and the product slider still worked.
We then added our custom CSS and function.php and the slider still worked.
We never used the old database or enfold setting, everything was re-done manually, apart from the product import.
We will now configure all the woocommerce setting and all the plugin setting, one by one and see what happens.
This is a very odd issue.

We imported all the the date on top of our test server, this was now identical to the live server, apart from a new base level installation of wordpress / woocommerce and enfold.
On testing the product slider, we found that it failed, and produced the same results as the live server.
We are now going to try one last thing. Rebuild the test server with a new wordpress / woocommerce & enfold, Import all the products, as a simple standard setup, only using the woocommerce pages, which we know works, as per my last message.
Then will will manually re-create all the pages and see where it fails. My feeling is that some where one of the pages is causing a conflict somewhere or there is something in the mySQL database that is being used that maybe causing a conflict.Will keep you posted.
By the way we upgraded our PHP to 5.5.20 as well.

From what I can hear, it seems that there might be some HTML somewhere as a tag or something, which needs to be fixed.
I am not so sure about that, although.Check it and if the error is still there, we can also see it together.

We have now managed to make it fail on a clean installation.
We are just trying to track down which element caused the failure.
So far we have a clean database, with stock import, a clean enfold installation and woocommerce installed.

So what we found is if we re-create everything from free, it still fails.
The last option we had was to look at enfold and see if there was something there, we have a version 2.9.2 and just uploaded it over the current release.
The test show that the slider started working, was also delete the products data base and manually entered some products and it seems to work

After many hours of testing, re-creating databases, up loading product files, manually configuring and setting up woocommerce and enfold.
We have been able to reproduce the problem.
There is one small parameter that is set in WooCommerce that breaks the product slider, which is:
Under WooCommerce, then Products, then Inventory –
Out Of Stock Visibility (when this is ticked) Hide out of stock items from the catalog, it kills the product slider.We have tested this on our live system and it works. but we don’t want to show out of stock product.

It’s been a very long day of testing and debugging, please have a look, you can do what you like on the test server (www.socialmediajungle.uk), it’s now 1:00am in the morning, off to bed now, Please have a fix for this soon.

It has not. We have reported the issue to our devs once again. Enfold 3.4.7 will be released later this week. If our devs will be able to troubleshoot the issue, we will include it to the update. I am not sure if the latest update of woocommerce or wordpress changed the behavior but I was not able to reproduce the issue. The slider works fine for me no matter if I disable or show out of stock products. Once we have released the next theme update please also make sure to update woocommerce and wordpress and let us know if it solves the issue. Enfold 3.5 should arrive at the end of the week ;)
