Hi,
I have added one more to a category and it seems to have fixed it. Not sure which category needed it.
The category used is called: Retro 50s Frocks, This has 11 Child Categories, each of the child categories have different quantities of items in it, the slider shows all the child categories in alphabetical order.
Will this fix be incorporated in the next release or will i have to manual add the fix myself?
Kind regards
Aleks
November 18, 2015 at 3:55 pm #538217Hi Aleks!
It should be just fine as long as you keep the code in functions.php file (which is overwritten with theme updates).
Issue was specific to your installation and that is why it took us so long to address it.Cheers!
YigitNovember 18, 2015 at 4:01 pm #538230Hi,
Can you tell me what is different about our installation, we also have another side which has the same slider issue, this side is totally differant
I will keep a copy of the fix, just in case the function file gets over written.
Regards
Aleks
November 18, 2015 at 4:29 pm #538271Hey!
Have you made any changes on WooCommerce files? Issue seems to be related to WooCommerce. Deactivating all plugins does not help, i tried as well. I tried to recreate the same content on my local installation and it worked totally fine.
Cheers!
YigitNovember 18, 2015 at 4:47 pm #538294Hi,
No changes are made in WooCommerce what so ever, we also deleted everything and rebuild it from scratch, the step are as follows
1. Create mySQL DB
2. FTP WordPress on to server
3. Installation of WP
4. Entered the DB – UID PWD & DB-name
5. Login to WP as admin
6. Upload Enfold
7. Enter Activation Key – Do Enfold Update
8. Install WooCommerce
9. Let WooCommerce create all the pages needed
10. Create our own pages
11. Install the plugins needed
12. Some minor CSS changes in custom.css (minor layouts)
13. Add small features in function.phpthis is the installation routine
it is very odd??
do you think there is a problem with the enfold parameters in the SQL database?
cheers

November 20, 2015 at 5:39 pm #539803Hey!
No, everything seems correct. WooCommerce support might be able to help. In that case, before contacting them, please create a testing environment – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/ and remove the changes i made to the theme so they can see the issue.
Best regards,
YigitNovember 20, 2015 at 7:00 pm #539876Hi Yigit
I will setup a test server next week and setup the complete thing again, with a new database, i won’t import the current one just incase there is an issue with it.
The product will be imported as there are a lot of them.
I think if i start the complete thing fresh with out the fix and see how it goes, then maybe you can check it out, i will keep you posted on thing.
We have our own server and lots of spare domain names to it shouldn’t be a problem to set up.
cheers for you help so far.
