Hi Guys,
I have updated to 3.0 and am running WordPress 4.0. I have emptied all Caches but still can not resolve issues.
The main issues is with buttons. If you vists some of the page links below, you will see after block of text, a button that says “learn more…”
If you now try to edit this page, the button loses its styling and links. Also notice the top Parralax image is not showing (just a grey background). If you could help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
November 20, 2014 at 5:32 pm #354328Hi ghodson!
I see what you mean. Let’s try deactivating all plugins to see if that goes away. Is it just those pages where it is happening on? I tried creating a new page and it did not seem to happen there.
Also try activating just the parent theme to see if it’s a problem in your child theme.
The parallax seems to be displaying fine on my end.
Best regards,
ElliottDecember 4, 2014 at 12:44 pm #362808I tried activating just the parent, and tried disabling the plugins. Still having the same issues.
I can’t update any pages, without issues. The parallax is sections that are now showing black instead of showing image such as the section
on home page: “Tangible combines design, technology + strategy to help brands build engaging websites and applications.”Really apprecaite if you hold have a dig around to see whats causing this. It was fine before update and I haven’t touched anything beofre or after update.
Thanks
December 5, 2014 at 4:51 pm #363656Hey!
Your site was timing out for me yesterday but it seems to be working fine today.
It looks like your existing pages have some corrupted code in the advanced layout builder which is causing a javascript error.
SyntaxError: illegal character /* */!function(){try{var t=\"currentScript\"in document?document.curre...
You’ll notice you do not get this error when creating a new page so I think some stuff must have gotten messed up with the update. Not sure how it could have happened unfortunately.
What you can try is enable the debug view, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, and when you edit your page you can try deleting any code that looks suspicious (probably your buttons) and then save the page to see if the error goes away. If that does not help though then it would probably be best to delete the page and recreate it.

December 8, 2014 at 1:01 pm #364593I have tried debug mode and deleting the code, but it keeps comiong back. And parallax sections just aren’t wokring.
I have this problem with evey page. It will take forever to recreate each page. I may as well start from the beginning in which case
I would probably go with one of my other themes I have been working with as I can’t afford for this to happen again. If there is no way you can help fix this on your end, let me know.December 8, 2014 at 1:22 pm #364599This reply has been marked as private.December 8, 2014 at 9:33 pm #364967Hi!
Here is an example of what is showing in your debug view.
[av_button label='Learn more...' link='manually,mailto:[email protected]' link_target='_blank' size='small' position='right' icon_select='yes' icon='ue81f' font='entypo-fontello' color='theme-color-subtle' custom_bg='#444444' custom_font='#ffffff']
I deleted this code and added a new button and updated the page (responsive web design page) and it appears to be working fine now.
If your not sure where that weird code is coming from then it’s most likely being added by a plugin.
