Problems with writing and changing text content in a text box
After saving en updating I got the following popup message:

    Request Entity Too Large
The requested resource /wp-admin/post.php does not allow request data with POST request, or the amount of data provide in the request exceeds the capacity limit

Does someone understands this message and how can it be solved?

    Hi williamsommer!

Please ask your hosting provider to increase php memory limit to 256M and let us know if that will solve yiour issue.

    Thanks a lot

    Best regards,

    Hi Basilis,

    Thanks for your advise.
My hosting provider tried this and send me this answer:
In previous research we have done already increases this value to 2048M, standard on our platform is that 1024M. This means that the value is well above the requirement of the developer.
In order to further support the developer in investigating your problem, we show all PHP values for you in the info.php. This page has been added to your website. You can share the link with the developer, so they have all the information on the basis of the PHP settings of your web hosting package.

Hopefully you can use this extra information for solving the problem.
Many thanks again and regards, William

    Hi!

Thanks for the information. Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately?
Also, can we deactivate all active plugins for testing purposes?

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi,

I created a private testing page and i am able to edit the text there. Can you please point out the page you are having issues with?
Also, do you mind if we try de-activating all active plugins for testing purposes?

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit,
It’s the Home page, third text box. Text starting with: Continuous improvement…
No problem to try de-activating plugins for testing.
    Thanks, William

    Hi!

As suspected “qTranslate-X” is the issue. I deactivated it and can update your content now.
I noticed you are using an older version of WordPress, Enfold and the plugin. Please try updating all and check if that helps.

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit,
Thanks a lot to find out. I was afraid to update. Some time ago I updated WordPress and it didn’t support the Enfold theme properly. I lost some content and it changes the layout…, I had to downgrade, back to the older version..
With which update do I have to start? Can you make any suggestion?

    Hey!

You can firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.8 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ then update WordPress and then the plugin. If that still does not help, please try contacting plugin author as they should have better insight on what could be causing the issue.

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi!

    You are welcome!
For your information, you can take a look at Enfold documentation here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/
And if there are features that you wish Enfold had, you can request them and vote the requested ones here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
For any other questions or issues, feel free to post them here on the forum and we will gladly try to help you :)

    Cheers!
    Yigit
