    Hi guys,

I just found out this issue with a new site I just made. After installing WPML here is what the menu page under ‘appearence’–>’menu’ looks like:

(regular menu view – italian version) https://www.dropbox.com/s/ps5vzjnqs2rqgfm/regular%20menu.png?dl=0
(bugged menu view – English default) https://www.dropbox.com/s/bcgyc9xcl2tfm2q/buggedmenu.png?dl=0

Initially I made a back up copy of the site, then reset and restored the whole site to a version prior to adding multilingual menus and it worked fine.
Then I retried adding new menus and this is the result.
I need to have the back office menu page look normal, can you take a look and find a fix, please?

Admin credentials are below, thank you.

    Hey Antonio!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

What happens when you switch to a default theme? Try to download a fresh copy of the WordPress files then override your installation. Get a new copy of enfold then override the theme files as well.

Increase the memory limit to at least 256M: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/

    Hey @Ismael,

do you mean I should download and install a brand new WP clean installation, then install a brand new Enfold, then I can restore a back up of the current site or?

    PS:

When I switched to another theme (2015) the problem disappeared. I switched back to Enfold and the problem was still there. Now I try do what you say but I haven’t understood whether I can restore a back up of the site or not….

I tried following your directions and it doesn’t work.
I also tried and install the site on a test domain with another server and the same exact issue with the default menu language happens.
I’ve done several sites with Enfold and WPML and never came across this issue. Is it maybe due to the latest updates?

Any clue on how to solve this. Seems like a pretty important issue because it won’t allow the use of WPML anymore…

    Hi!

So far you’re the only user who reported this issue so somehow, it has something to do with your server configuration. What happens when you delete all plugins then install WPML only? Please contact your hosting provider, maybe they got something to say about this issue. You can ask them for the error logs if there’s any.

    Cheers!
