Unfortunately I have not been able to edit my texts since I installed and upgraded to enfold 4.5.2. I then installed the lock editor disabling plugin and work again with the old editor. But when I switch from the wordpress-editor to your extended layout editor, my text disappears completely. Is there a solution?
Thanks and best regards,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Thanks for that. What happens if you select to use the Classic Editor in the Select Your Editor option on the main page of the theme options?

KirstenJanuary 21, 2019 at 12:26 pm #1056562Hi Kirsten,
Thanks for the update, so the problem is not that the Enfold layout builder is not working? But that what you have in a page or post is not added to the builder once you switch to it? If so then please point out an example where we can see this happening.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 21, 2019 at 2:14 pm #1056651Hi Rikard,
Specifically, the problem occurs when we create a post. I have created a post “TEST” for clarity. Here I have used the advanced layout editor and our template for the newsletter. The following text then appears in the text block: [av_textblock] and the text can no longer be edited.
When I change to the standard editor of WordPress I can not find any text anymore. In addition, the style in the Advanced Layout Editor disappeared when I go back there. I hope this is an understandable example. Thanks

Thanks for the clarification, I tried logging in but it looks like the token has expired. Could you renew it or post regular admin login details in private again please?

Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?
Could you please enable the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode. Here is how to do it:

I tried to sent you the screenshots by mail, because I do not know how to add them here.
I also enabled the Advanced Layout Builder debug mode.Best regards,

Thanks for the update and login token. So if I understand you correctly, the problem is that your content disappears when switching from the Enfold layout builder to the regular WordPress editor? If that is the case then I would like to ask you why you need to use the regular WordPress editor? I would see that as totally pointless, since you can for instance use a text block element which would enable you to create whatever you would be able to create in the regular editor.
Also, when creating with the Layout Builder in Enfold, everything is saved in shortcode. So even if your content would be brought over to the regular editor, it would likely not make much sense to you anyway.

RikardJanuary 30, 2019 at 12:20 pm #1060448Hi Rikard,
thank you for your answer. That’s the problem. Some of our company authors prefer to create their contributions with the WordPress editor. Since it is so problematic to switch between the editors, they must now work with the Enfold Layout Builder. As far as I understand, there is no other way.
Best regards
KirstenJanuary 31, 2019 at 10:18 pm #1061265Hi Kirsten,
Yes, you need to stick to one editor while building the page. It has always been like this.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
