Hi there,
I have updated all my pages from Enfold version 4.7.6.3 to 4.7.6.4. It is working properly on all pages but one. When updating this page (no matter when trying a few days ago with WordPress 5.5.2 or now with WordPress 5.5.3) and opening the site after the update I just get the preloader, but the page itself does not open anymore.
Already tried to turn off all Plugins, but the error does not disappear.
Would appreciate if you could help somehow!

I see that you are running the previous version of the theme, we would have to see the actual problem in order to help you out. Maybe you could copy the site to a staging site and update there first?

The problem is, that the website is down once I carry out the update. And I have neither the knowledge nor the webspace to create a copy of the site (this is what you mean with a staging site, aren’t you?). So how can we arrange this so that downtime is reduced to a minimum?

Thanks for the update. We can’t create a staging site for you unfortunately, but if the site is currently working then maybe it would be better if you waited for the next release of the theme? Then hopefully that version will work better on the site which you are having problems with.

As far as I can see there is nothing included in the update which has to be updated on short notice due to security reasons (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/changelog/). If this is correct we can do it this way. I’d suggest that we keep the ticket open until update can be carried out.

I don’t think you should have any problems with security or anything else on the site if simply keep the version you are currently using, and update when the new release of the theme is available. We’ll keep this thread open for you, until you have tried updating again.
